Staff said the district intentionally presented a proposed budget that does not rely on fund balance to balance operations and stressed that the proposal may be amended if state, federal or county appropriations differ from projections.
Board members asked clarifying questions about the sale of South Warren property, capital outlay priorities (replacing a high‑school boiler, portable HVAC, site repairs), and supplements for employees. The board moved to approve the proposed budget and the motion carried.
