MSE Engineers, Architects & Planners provided a written recommendation to award the contract to the low bidder, which the court accepted.
"I move to approve awarding the contract to Walker Principal of Mount Strerland," Commissioner Daniel Carmichael said; the motion was seconded by Shane Parker and approved by voice vote. The court did not read a roll-call tally; the motion was recorded as carried.
The decision follows the county's bid opening process and a staff recommendation; the transcript does not include additional project financing details, construction schedule or estimated completion date.
