EDA backs added screening for proposed Carvana reconditioning facility, seeks aesthetic improvements

Members also discussed whether the three platted parcels on the site should be combined in the future; staff said the parcels had been split earlier to reduce utility connection charges and that any future replattng or fee adjustments would be a separate process.
Next steps: The EDA’s action was a recommendation on site design and landscaping. The applicant will continue through the entitlement process with planning staff and Henipin County for any hazardous-waste licensing and county permitting related to minor bodywork or vehicle detailing.
