The Saucon Valley School District board approved a comprehensive K–12 counseling and guidance plan that district staff presented after a month-long public posting and review period.

The plan adds middle-school lesson plans and reinstates career days across buildings, and it includes career and postsecondary resources and an annual calendar of counseling activities.
During the motion to approve, one director noted community members had asked about supports for students who are not planning to attend postsecondary education and encouraged those residents to review the plan and contact administrators. The motion to approve carried.
