Board approves CT construction‑management contract to move Granada Park permitting forward

Directors said the firm’s size (about 30–35 people) and prior coastside experience make it a practical choice for the district’s needs.
The motion to approve the CPM proposal passed unanimously (voice vote recorded as 5 in favor). Staff said CPM’s immediate tasks include expedited onboarding, validating costs and supporting the coastal development permit application expected to be filed by late May. The board’s action is intended to keep the park project on the permitting schedule and to produce staffing and budget support for future phases.
