Don (presenter) told the council the project grew from Parks and Recreation outreach and a community survey with more than 500 respondents that the presenters said showed roughly 99.5% support. “Nothing is more enjoyable than watching children laughing and playing together,” Don said as he introduced the design and community outreach effort.
