County staff said the resident access module has a one‑time implementation cost of about $6,200; the business‑license module would have an estimated one‑time form‑setup cost of $10,920 and an annual fee of $2,652. Staff also recommended considering outside third‑party consulting to accelerate and bridge implementation; a high‑level estimate for third‑party assistance was discussed but not finalized.
Officials said the modules will replace manual tracking in the commissioner’s office, enable consolidated user accounts for businesses with multiple filings, and improve reconciliation to the general ledger. Tyler implementation was expected to begin within 60–90 days after approval.
The board approved the purchase and implementation by unanimous voice vote.
