Resolutions adopted by unanimous roll call (Mr. Schiff, Mr. Franco and Mr. Caba voting yes):
- Authorize expenditure to purchase a rear‑loader compaction rear loader (Dur-A-C 5000, 27 cubic yard) via the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program for the Public Works Department. - Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to void certain checks issued from the borough disbursement account. - Authorize refund of property taxes or utilities overpayment payable to CoreLogic. - Authorize amendment to the 2024 municipal budget to account for additional funding from the New Jersey Division of Local Government Services for the ARPA firefighter grant program. - Support October 6, 2024 as Opioid Awareness/Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day. - Approve updated flood‑insurance promotion activity with Atlantic County/Atlantic Cape multi‑jurisdictional public information program. - Cancel bond‑ordinance improvement authorization balances.
Additionally, the commission approved payment of all properly authorized bills and accepted departmental reports for the month ending late August 2024; minutes from Aug. 21 and Sept. 4, 2024 were also approved by roll call.
