CES middle school students showcase electives, seek board support for May 15 Philharmonic trip

Other students described hands-on learning in technology (soldering an FM radio), tiny-house design requiring measurement and math, and science projects such as marble-track roller-coaster experiments. The presentations emphasized cross-program participation: students who perform in arts also participate in athletics and applied-technology clubs.
Board members thanked the students and invited them to pose for a group photo before the meeting adjourned. No action was required; the choir trip and elective activities were presented for the board's information and as part of community engagement with district programs.
