A proposed 50-year ground-lease for development of affordable housing and adaptive reuse at the historic Melrose school site with Melrose Housing Partners LLC was held for additional information and will return at a subsequent meeting so council members can review further details about senior housing and budget timing.
Several capital transfers and construction appropriations were approved on same-night minutes, including a $375,980 transfer for seismic repairs in a fire building project (item 15), a $500,000 transfer for a drainage upgrade (item 16), and a $6 million transfer to reallocate capital funds within infrastructure projects (item 17). The council recorded roll-call votes for these consent and fiscal items during the meeting.
