"I don't really feel that I want to pay $1,100," Sour said, explaining the structure stores vehicles near his garage and that he had been told by planning staff someone would contact him about options.
Planning‑ and code‑enforcement staff explained the escalation reflects repeated citations and monthly penalties when violations are not resolved; Holly (planning staff) told the resident the office would review the citations and meet with him to walk through his paperwork and options. Council directed the resident to make an appointment with Holly to attempt a resolution.
Council voted to adopt the zoning assessment as presented but explicitly noted staff should pursue follow up with the resident and that council may remove the assessment if staff determines an administrative carve‑out is appropriate.
