Commissioners assign countywide construction project-management role to Dan

Commissioners said the change responds to lessons learned managing American Rescue Plan Act-funded projects and emphasized that the role is oversight rather than changing direct-report relationships. The board asked for regular monthly project reports so commissioners can assist if workload pressures emerge.
The commission approved adding the construction project-manager duties to Dan’s job description and made the change effective immediately by voice vote.
