Board approves University of Idaho '4 Learn' pathway allowing 4‑H projects to carry school credit

The online coursework is delivered through Canvas and, once completed, the University of Idaho generates transcripts that the home schools accept for credit. The presenters said the current course fee is $125 and that programs under the current grant year include animal science and civic engagement; additional course areas (financial literacy, forestry, family and consumer sciences) are under consideration.
When asked whether the $125 fee could be covered by state 'advanced opportunities' funds, presenters said that approval had not yet been obtained and that local scholarship options (for example, Rotary support) were being explored.
