The Perris Union High School District recognized this year’s employees of the year during its Feb. 12 board meeting.
Superintendent Dr Ross presented district awards to teachers, classified staff and administrators from multiple high schools. The board applauded honorees including a district teacher of the year from Heritage High School and classified, confidential and administrator employees of the year representing Paloma Valley, Perris High, Liberty and other campuses. Several recipients were honored in absentia because of prior commitments or family emergencies.
Dr Ross framed the recognitions as a reflection of consistent student-centered leadership and said the district is proud of staff members who support student success across academics, athletics and campus operations. The board took photos with honorees and recognized their contributions before moving on to other agenda items.
The district did not take policy action related to the recognitions; the item was presented for recognition and celebration.
