Woodward, who told the board she has been involved with ambulance service since 1989, spoke briefly about her interest in representing the Clark Fork Valley Ambulance area and maintaining open communication with county leadership. Commissioners discussed geographic balance on advisory bodies and noted the seat fills the remainder of a term that will expire Jan. 1, 2027.
A commissioner moved to appoint Woodward to fill the vacancy through Jan. 1, 2027; the motion was seconded and passed by roll call.
