San Bernardino council reports receivership initiation, approves consent calendar and other motions

At the start of the April 15 meeting the city attorney reported that the council met in closed session on listed items and that one item was reportable: the council unanimously approved initiation of a receivership case related to anticipated litigation under Government Code section 54956.9 (one case). The city attorney said details will be publicly available when the case is filed.
Later in the meeting the council unanimously approved the consent calendar (items 6–16) with one item pulled for comment. The council also voted unanimously to extend the meeting beyond 10:00 p.m. under Resolution 2024-0290 to continue agenda items.
