Commission renews landscape maintenance contract despite calls to prioritize local vendors

The opposing commissioner said they generally support giving local companies opportunities and cited the desire to keep city dollars circulating locally.
The motion to renew carried 3–1; the opposing commissioner recorded the dissent at the time of the vote.
