Coral Springs staff asked the commission to amend the city’s existing Motorola contract to complete handheld radio programming by adding an integration that provides a GPS/location feed into the city’s CAD system.
Brad, the presenting staff member, told the commission the integration was intended in the original scope and had been missed; he said the vendor will complete the integration at zero additional cost to the city.
A commissioner moved to amend the contract, the motion was seconded and the commission approved the amendment by voice vote with no opposition.
Staff characterized the change as completing the originally intended work and not requiring additional city funds.
