Carmel-by-the-Sea staff and volunteers are holding a Carmel Prepares emergency-preparedness session on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Carpenter Hall, the city announced. Wanda Volmer, the city’s CERT captain, said the session will include wildfire survivors from Altadena, a presentation by Chief Justin Cooper on wildfire preparedness, and remarks from Chief Trayer and Councilmember Hans Booter.
