The Board sought to issue a negative declaration under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR), concluding the proposed leases and development would not result in significant environmental impacts, and to authorize a ground lease between the county and SCCRC.
Committee members approved the law‑and‑finance slate that includes the SEQR finding and ground‑lease authorization by voice vote. County staff indicated prior review by the County Department of Planning and Economic Development and the County Attorney's Office.
