Committee OKs FAA grant and avigation easement for airport terminal project

Saratoga County’s Law & Finance Committee approved acceptance of a Federal Aviation Administration airport infrastructure grant of $285,000 to offset county costs for the airport terminal project. County staff said the county and state will each provide a $7,500 match.
The committee also authorized an avigation easement with James and Deborah Zaloga over property within the runway protection zone for runway 14 and associated air surfaces above a neighboring residential subdivision to facilitate airport operations.
The airport items were approved by voice vote after motion and second.
