County director reminds commissioners to file ethics statements, schedules FY27 budget hearings

"You have until May 1st, 2026 to file your statement of financial interest with the ethics commission," the county director said during the director’s report. The director also said Gerard Boyce had circulated an email about ethics training on April 11 and advised commissioners to contact the HR director with questions.
Staff also reminded the commission that an advisory board finance committee meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. and the advisory board will hold a public hearing on the FY27 budget at 6:00 p.m. this evening at the Aggie. A separate staff report noted the fiscal-year schedule for court facilities (FY25) is near completion and is expected to be ready by next week.
The announcements were procedural; no votes were required for these calendar and compliance reminders. The commission moved on to other items after the director’s report.
