Staff said the prior owner left the property in poor condition with large liens; the new owner paid abatements and quickly brought the property into reasonable condition, pressure‑washing the roof, clearing a pool and cleaning the lot. Because the current owner paid outstanding abatements and presented good‑faith offers, staff recommended accepting $2,000 per case. The board voted to accept each offer for a total of $10,000, to be paid within 30 days. The board closed the cases afterward.
Board members praised the prompt remediation and noted the accepted offers reflected a practical recovery of costs while allowing the property to return to productive use.
