The College Station Planning & Zoning Commission voted 4–1 on April 16 to recommend removing a short, unbuilt segment of Pavilion Avenue — a minor collector shown on the 2007 thoroughfare plan — and the bike lanes and sidewalks associated with it.
Jason Schubert, the city’s transportation planning administrator, told commissioners the alignment was added in 2007 to serve as a backage road to support anticipated commercial development.
