Commissioners were reminded of a public hearing scheduled for Sept. 10 to consider a bed‑and‑breakfast application. Staff noted the code currently mixes bed‑and‑breakfast and short‑term rental language and that clarifying those definitions will be part of future code edits.
Commissioners asked staff to provide documents summarizing past Village purchases, current parcel uses, and a proposed schedule for work on the VC Zone and other priorities. Staff proposed fewer meetings in November and December (one meeting each month) because of the holidays, and said they will circulate proposed dates for the next work session.
The commission closed the workshop without votes on these pipeline items and directed staff to return with the requested materials and scheduling proposals.
