EDA to revisit sign ordinance after Quick Trip variance; packet to be updated for January

The commission favored refining a five-year-old draft they developed previously rather than beginning a lengthy rewrite. Staff agreed to send an updated packet that includes the most recent council-approved amendments and the ordinance language for areas within a certain distance of the interstate, which several members flagged as a special case. The item was placed on the January agenda for additional review and direction to planning staff.
