Chair Andy Wilson called the meeting to order and the board first moved to approve the Feb. 9 minutes; the motion carried on a roll-call vote, recorded as 5-0 in favor. The board then considered the March 16 minutes with proposed edits, including replacing the word "grandfathered" with "existing" in a paragraph describing the town’s two gravel pits. The motion to approve the March 16 minutes as amended passed with recorded votes including one abstention.
The board next considered an invoice from a vendor identified as Government Oversight for minutes preparation — four meetings billed at $30 each, a total of $120 — and voted to pay the invoice by roll call.
Members emphasized the need for accurate minutes when a topic, such as the gravel pits, may later be reviewed in court or during permit processes. Several members asked the town staff to preserve the discussion as presented in the April 13 minutes and to circulate proposed wording changes by e-mail for clarity.
The board set its next regular meeting for May 11 at 6 p.m.
