Northborough presents balanced FY27 budget that uses free cash to limit tax increase

Superintendent Martin opened for the school district and said the combined proposed School Committee budgets total about $63.5 million for FY27, with the K–8 budget at $32,076,841 (a 6.96% increase) and the Algonquin Regional assessment at $31,416,287 (a 5.81% increase).
