“On behalf of the town of Simsbury, I want to welcome … Dr. Ziegler, Vitality Orthopedics and Biologics,” McDud said, noting the practice’s potential to serve older residents and athletes in the area.
McDud told attendees the location is “the best spot in town” for a new medical business and encouraged residents to visit and learn about the services the practice will offer. She also acknowledged the presence of the Simsbury Main Street Partnership in formally welcoming the business.
A representative for the practice offered brief remarks of thanks, saying the community’s support was much appreciated and indicating a local connection of several years. Attendees were invited to tour the office space and mingle after the remarks.
The event combined the business welcome with community announcements; organizers encouraged residents to meet the new providers and to consider how the practice might serve older adults and athletes identified during the remarks.
