Vice Chair Sue Blankenship seconded the motion to table after Commissioner Haas moved to delay the item to a date‑specific meeting on May 21. Cami McGee, board secretary, called the roll; the chair announced "None opposed. Motion carries." The commission opened the public hearing on the item so the application can be read into the record and scheduled a full staff and applicant presentation for May 21.
Why it matters: increasing the permitted enrollment would expand the school's allowable student population and could affect traffic, parking and neighborhood impacts near MacArthur Boulevard and StarLeaf Street. Commission staff said additional data and outstanding procedural items need to be addressed before the commission can deliberate.
