Members stressed that the town's permitted discharge limit (reported during the meeting as 480,000 gallons per day) is the operational threshold of greatest concern; accurate meter readings are needed for compliance and to determine whether system repairs or further investigations are required. The superintendent said the meters should be recalibrated in the coming weeks and staff will report updated flow data to the board.
