During the ceremonial portion, officials administered oaths of office to incoming and continuing members. Lori Anderson was sworn in as a councilwoman. After taking the oath, she thanked residents for their support and invited attendees to a post-meeting reception at the firehouse.
Council President Jamie Ball Miller thanked the community for her past six years of service and said she looks forward to serving as council president for the next two years, saying, "It has been an honor to serve you for the past six years. I look forward to the next two years as your council president." Council member Mike McAffrey also thanked voters and pledged to do his best for the town.
The council opened the floor for public comment, asking attendees to state their name and address and to limit remarks to three minutes; no in-person or Zoom comments were offered. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn; the council invited attendees next door to the firehouse for a reception.
