Mark (planning staff) explained the changes are intended to streamline review and make it easier for board members and the public to find specific revisions in resubmitted plans: rather than re-reading an entire plan, applicants must identify sheet numbers and detail call-outs where changes were made.
Board members discussed implementation and staff said the requirement will be reflected in staff correspondence to applicants. The board moved to adopt both updates and recorded affirmative roll-call votes from present members; the amendments were adopted as formal bylaw changes.
The changes will take effect as the board updates its application checklist and correspondence; staff said enforcement will begin when the revised application packet is distributed.
