Agent Kyle told the commission he visited the site with city inspectors and that one property owner has been contacted but did not appear at the meeting as required. The enforcement order requires the owner to submit a restoration plan for the impacted 25-foot riverfront area by June 24, 2026, and specifies that the commission will review the plan at its July meeting.
Kyle said the remediation area currently includes what appears to be a large garden up to the edge of the waterway; he said owners had suggested they might allow natural revegetation and simply install a fence at the 25-foot line, but that the enforcement order remains in effect and formal restoration documentation is required. "The order stands," Kyle told the commission, and failure to submit an acceptable restoration plan by the deadline could lead to court enforcement.
