The Piedmont Board of Education approved two personnel items related to student health and special‑services staffing.
The board voted to revise FY26 pay rates to add an hourly contracted pay rate for Wildcat Clubhouse nurses. Administrators said the change ensures the district can pay nurses who provide after‑hours care for students who need monitoring for blood pressure, blood sugar and similar conditions.
Under item F, Scott described the proposed special‑services program facilitator job description that would replace duties performed by Linda White. Scott said Linda White has been in education for 53 years and has served the district in roles including child‑find coordinator and related‑services coordinator; the updated job description would broaden the role to include compliance support, professional development and classroom behavior support. The board approved the amended job description.
Both motions passed by roll-call vote during the meeting.
