Olive Branch accepts Lick Creek Interceptor Sewer as complete and approves final payment

The Olive Branch board on Oct. 21 accepted the Lick Creek Interceptor Sewer project as complete and approved final payment of $99,563.13, including retainage, to W&T Contracting Corporation.
Mr. Swims described the project as a closeout for a sewer line that now provides additional capacity feeding from Church Road to the Ross Road treatment plant. "This is the close out. This is for the sewer that's ... going from Church Road to the Ross Road treatment plant. So it's a 36 inch line and uh also that existing 15 is still there," Mr. Swims said.
Mr. Collins moved to approve the final payment; Mr. Dickerson seconded the motion and the board approved the payment and acceptance of the project as complete.
Staff indicated the acceptance closes out the contract for this phase; no further action on the contract was recorded in the meeting minutes excerpt.
