Commissioners review CORSA liability notice, Title VI update and upcoming road bids

County Engineer Gary Shafer described two highway/transportation items: authorization to advertise sealed bids for the Kinsman sidewalk Phase 5 (Lakeview Drive to State Route 87) under ODOT’s LPA program and a resolution to participate in ODOT’s aggregated salt bid. Shafer said the sidewalk construction is scheduled for this summer and that participation in the salt bid ensures townships and other local entities can obtain salt through the state's process.
