Staff said the property is nearly finished: three of the four toilets are installed, some handrails and final fixtures remain, and a stove delivery expected early next week will allow staff to call for final inspections. "We're like 98% there," one staff member said.
The board directed staff to prepare an order to rescind the demolition/repair order contingent on payment of recorded costs and passing final inspections. Linda will provide contact information and payment details to the owner to facilitate the release of the bond once the order is rescinded.
No action was required at the meeting beyond the status update, but staff said they expect to call final inspections next week and will present the rescission order once payments are confirmed.
