Council approves April 13 minutes with correction and requests water-utility slides be attached

The Georgetown City Council on April 14 approved the April 13 meeting minutes after adding two amendments: correcting the mayor's historical-marker reference and attaching slides shown during a GMWSS customer-usage presentation that were not included in the packet.
Miss Lesby Mitchell moved to approve the minutes with the amendments, and Mr. Crisp seconded the motion. Mayor requested the first amendment to change the recorded name from “Alexander King Richards” to the form he specified; council agreed to the correction. Council members also asked staff to provide and attach the slides used by the water company in the previously held presentation because the packet did not include them.
The motion, as amended to incorporate the name correction and to attach the GMWSS slide materials to the minutes, passed by voice vote with all council members saying “I.” The council took no further action on the underlying GMWSS presentation during the work session and treated the request as a ministerial update to the minutes.
The council then continued with a staff-led budget review and other informational items; no final budget votes were taken at the April 14 work session.
