Committee advances proposed Inspectional Services finance officer to full council, pending salary documentation

Hooton said the job would support the ISD director and “track all the orders and the contracts” that come to the department.
Committee members asked whether funding is available; Hooton replied there is no funding in the current year and the position would be included in the next budget year if approved. Counselors requested the grade and salary details be supplied before the full council consideration. The committee moved to send the ordinance to full council with a favorable recommendation and to personnel, pending the salary documentation.
