City reports March certificate-of-occupancy activity: 60 multifamily units and 46 single-family homes

Rose, economic and strategic opportunities staff and a former city planner, presented the city's certificate-of-occupancy report for March. She said the city issued COs for two multifamily developments (30 units each) totaling 60 units and 46 single-family homes for the month. Valuation figures were reported alongside the unit counts.
"We had two multifamily developments that each had 30 units for a total of 60 units," Rose said. She provided a valuation summary and explained the city used an average household size of 2.1 persons to estimate a theoretical population gain of approximately 223 people during March.
Rose also noted a pre-application screening for a duplex proposal at 505 North Lincoln Street by applicant Timothy Hillary of Homekey Enterprises LLC. Board members complimented the additional detail and said the expanded report format was an improvement for tracking development activity.
The report was informational; no formal action was taken.
