Other members and staff responded that current administrative contracts do not include salary amounts or assigned building titles because assignments can change before the school year starts. Administration recommended consulting legal counsel before changing the content of a contract‑approval board document.
Board members discussed alternatives, including adding a dated roster of current administrative positions as a reference item or including the position "as of" a stated date, subject to legal review. Following debate, a motion to approve the administrator-contract list as presented was made by Dr. Beer, seconded by Mrs. Seperski, and passed with a 6–1 tally.
