Staff said the parcels are currently undeveloped and that some nearby sites have industrial uses but not the subject parcels themselves. Commissioner Patrick and others urged vigilance about the quality of future development so that the corridor remains compatible with surrounding neighborhoods.
The motion to adopt the staff recommendation was moved by Commissioner Maddox, seconded by Commissioner Welch, and passed unanimously.
