The Plymouth Planning Board voted to grant a 90-day extension for Stone Bluff Property Holdings' ongoing site-plan review, moving the applicant's decision deadline into late July to allow the applicant time to finalize elevations and other outstanding materials.
Joseph, the board's planning staff, summarized the applicant's written request to extend the decision deadline and noted the applicant’s willingness to renotice abutters and pay required fees if the 90 days pushed the application beyond local notice limits. Board members discussed whether renoticing would be appropriate after such a lapse and agreed that the applicant’s offer to pay the costs mitigated that concern.
A motion to grant the 90-day extension and to ask the applicant to pay appropriate renoticing fees was moved and seconded. The motion passed; the board recorded two abstentions.
Board members said they expected the applicant to re-present an updated application when ready and that the extension would allow time for public input and any necessary plan clarifications. No final decision on the underlying site-plan application was made at the meeting.
