Supervisors approve supplemental agreement with inspector services for CO2 pipeline work

County Engineer Jacob Burrow described a supplemental agreement with Schneider and Associates to modify the fee schedule for county inspector services on the Tallgrass CO2 pipeline project. "That first agreement did not include any overtime or the ability to bill for things such as hotel," Burrow said, and the supplemental sets out those additional billable items.
Burrow said the county received and reviewed the first invoice, then recommended the contract modification. The board moved, seconded and approved the supplemental agreement by voice vote.
Supervisors also discussed the possibility of adding a small administrative fee for handling invoices, a practice some neighboring counties are considering; staff said they would follow up with sample templates and additional information if needed.
