At the March 2, 2026 regular business meeting of the Owen J. Roberts School District Board of School Directors, members approved the recommended consent agenda and a set of new-business consent items and acknowledged several donations.
The board voted to approve recommended routine matters listed as consent items 6.2 through 6.8 after a motion by Mr. Harmon and a second by Mr. Chester. The vote was taken by voice and the motion passed. The board then acknowledged donations to district activity accounts, including a $1,500 contribution from Silver Lake LLC designated for the girls soccer club activity account and a $5,480 contribution from the PTO identified as $10 per student for field trips in the 2025–26 school year.
The board also approved the establishment of a Science Olympiad team at the high school under section 511 of the Pennsylvania School Code and school board regulations 122A/122B. The motion to create the student activity was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote. Board members also approved a package of new-business consent items numbered 12.2 through 12.17.
