The City Council confirmed two appointments to the Calabasas Community Foundation at its June 25 meeting. Interim city clerk Christy Buckemper said appointees Pam Ross and Jennifer Jasabi Maharajer were nominated by the foundation’s chair to fill unscheduled vacancies; both appointments carry terms ending in January 2026.
Council member Shapiro moved the item with a second from Council member Winrob; the council approved the appointments and the city clerk administered the oath of office to Pam Ross at the meeting. The clerk noted Jennifer Jasabi Maharajer was unable to attend and will take her oath at the next available opportunity.
The foundation board, Buckemper said, consists of the city manager (chair), community services director (secretary), the chief financial officer and two community resident appointees (one of whom must be a business owner). The council did not request further discussion and no additional action was required.
