Planning staff outlines design-guideline update, CityWorks rollout and announces staff retirement

On staffing, Mr. Newman reported an engineer-in-training accepted an offer and that Ryan Robersonson will fill the principal planner role in the coming weeks. He announced that Holly Smith has notified the city of her retirement planned for mid-July and thanked her for long service; commissioners acknowledged the news.
No formal actions were required; staff will continue to refine the design-guideline text and publish rollout schedules for CityWorks and staffing transitions.
