Commissioners discussed two options: an every-other-month schedule (January, March, May, July, September, November) and an alternate pattern of pairs of months on and off. Several members said the every-other-month pattern best balanced staff capacity and commissioner availability; one member noted that a council liaison’s schedule would affect choices. Chair Ashley moved to make the cadence official and the commission took a voice vote that passed with all present voting “aye.”
