Tehama County approves midyear budget adjustments, phases staffing for new reentry facility

Tehama County administrators on March 3 presented a midyear budget report that the board approved after discussion about staffing, contingencies and state mandates.
Arepa Maamea, the countys administrative fiscal manager, told the board that the midyear package includes $1.4 million in general fund adjustments and capital entries for the Corning Veterans Hall ($6.4 million) and other deferred maintenance projects funded by ARPA and CDBG. Road-fund timings were realigned (a net $3.1 million shift) to reflect project schedules.
